I have seen more reviews where this has happened to other guests. If I had been informed before I left maybe I could have cleared this up. When we checked out the morning of May 12, I turned in the room key cards, the girl looked at computer and said everything was good. I'm pretty sure if security had been in our room at that time we would have woken up. At that time my husband and I were asleep in our room. I also discovered that the charges to my card came in at 4:04 AM.
The best I can understand all he did was call Pocola and go by whatever they told him and considers that a good way to treat visitors to the hotel. Duh! I have been unable to contact anyone at Choctaw except for a Joel Herrington. He said they knew it was our room because they had a picture of our door. He wouldn't tell me what the item was they said they found. I was informed they wouldn't drop the charges and he refused to email me any of the documentation and pictures they supposedly had. When I called Choctaw I was informed that there was a strong odor of marijuana in our room and some unnamed item was found and security was called. We got home and I checked my card's account. If you stay here check your credit card account! We stayed May 11, 2022.
